Developing a Responsible and Well-designed Governance Structure for Data Marketplaces

A Briefing Paper entitled “Developing a Responsible and Well-designed Governance Structure for Data Marketplaces” was published last August by the World Economic Forum Centre For Industrial Revolution in Japan.

The paper  explores how data marketplaces are considered by Japan as a starting point for addressing economic, social and environmental challenges.

It also presents the concept of data marketplaces as a model for advancing the aims of the Data for Common Purposes Initiative, driven by the World Economic Forum.
